i’m holding on waiting for your call
it’s simple but i can’t explain this
i’m sinking down i feel like i could die
i’m falling off i don’t know why
i still believe it when you say
it’s another perfect day
another perfect day
i still believe it when you say
it’s another perfect day
another perfect day
so i might try to leave it all behind
i know tommorow’s not so bright now
i’ll say goodbye cause nothing good can last
(you wear and figured no where fast)
and today i don’t know how too keep it all inside
but i guess i’ll let it slide
today i don’t know why
i thought that it was real
but i guess it’s no big deal
i don’t know how
i don’t know how
to let it slide
I'd take trips to the University of Michigan hospital for check ups when I was a kid. This song came on the radio on the way home home one night. Always takes me right back to my childhood
Way waaaay back in the day (like 2000), I was given a demo CD with this song on it by a stranger. It just had this song on it. (And another version of the song, like a radio edit or something). I used to listen to that CD all the time as a kid. Wish I still had it. This brings back so many childhood memories..
You want me to reel off a list of my childhood/early teen music education from the late 90's and early 00's. Here we go:
Sum 41, Smashing Pumpkins, Blink 182, Lit, Green Day, American Hi-Fi, New Found Glory, Bloodhound Gang, Alien Ant Farm, System of a Down, Hoobastank, Idlewild, The Offspring, Weezer, Wheatus, Less Than Jake, Jimmy Eat World, Foo Fighters, Puddle of Mud, Alkaline Trio, Placebo, Incubus.
Have I left any out?
