I saw ARS my junior year in 1979 at Jacksonville State University (JSU). It was homecoming. My date turned out to be a shithead. I only lasted one semester there as a biology major, went home with my tonsils as big as billiard balls (wound up developing into mononucleosis), took a hiatus, & transferred to University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where I finally got a degree in anthropology. Even with all the horrible stuff that happened, the ARS concert really stands out as a very positive event. I feel really lucky to have seen them when I did.
