I work at Goodwill​. someone recently bought this album on record. I thought he was good looking so I looked him up. this is actually awesome!!!

Good overture for any decent newscast or sober mood. In fact, it has been extensively used for either purposes. The flugel theme sets an atmosphere of respect which is emphasized whenever the brass section comes over.

Ken what drum corps were you in?  Had good friends in the Wausau Story.  Went to lots of drum corps shows in the 70s

Are there any recordings of this song besides this one and the Hollywood Bowl concert? I saw Chuck in concert around 10 years ago and the version he played had much punchier percussion and a slower, hip-hop-style tempo. It rocked!

I play trumpet, and am amazed at the sounds this man is able to get out of a flugel horn. He is an amazing musician

I have all his records if anybody wanted by them let me know because they just sitting there collecting dust
