I remember Craig Douglas, the songs them days were awesome, todays rubbish music will never be like the golden days of Rock n Roll,

She was only 14 and it lasted 58yrs, and now I have lost her.

I am very confused as to the writer of this great song. I grew up in the 60's - 70's - 80's and Dr. Hooks version was one of my favorite childhood songs (And no i didnt know what it meant, I just loved it). Dr. Hooks version lists Sam Cooke as the writer, as does Wikipedia. However Not only does this version list Barbara Campbell as the writer, but so does Sam Cooke's version! I am guessing Barbara Campbell is the writer, but if someone that knows their stuff could clear it up for me, it would be appreciated!

Loved Sam Cook singing only sixteen 'So glad i was a 60s girl we will never enjoy music like thisera.Every song had a story not like the dribble we hear today.

Craig came to our son's wedding reception and sang his hits.  He is a genuine performer and gentleman.  Not many left.

Played at a friend's funeral today. He and she met at the age of 16. He died a couple of weeks ago at the age of 75.
