she one of the best Israeli lady singers/ gr8 voice/ voice form the sky/ and she looked fery good even sexy i say, she still look good for her age.and she still have good voice
Esther was a great singer, one of my favorites . This is one of the few songs by her I dislike, a very unsettling interpretation. Beatle songs are best sung the way they were written by the Beatles.
The first time I heard her sing, she did remind me of Barbra Streisand. But the more I've listened to her, the more she becomes unique and original. Her tone is very different from Streisand's and she is much more playful with her vibrato.
Hmm, okay from a theatrical pov. Now, I would like to hear Esther do a cover of Kate Bush' song Wuthering Heights; should be easy for her to give it the Esther treatment, and in a good way too.
This is a vercion thet i have never hurt before , amazing beautiful voice and Beautiful to , if somebody now where i can by this beautiful lady , E-mail me.
I concur, heartily!
I think it was Juliette Greco that first popularized the kohl eyeliner look, back in the late fifties. The whole left bank Paris existential thing was very influential on the mod look that followed.
If anything, Esther is less schmaltzy than Babs all around!
I've only become a fan of Esther in the last 2 years. I was searching for a Hollies song a came across her version of A Taste of Honey. It has become the song to which I return more often than any other. I'm continually astounded by her voice and her unique performance. It seems so effortless.
