bluesey, pentatonic riffs with a southern influence, melodic metalcore influences... it sounds like an overused and generic concept on paper but this band somehow manages to take all of those overused cliches and still make something unique and kick ass out of them.
I dunno. Out of all the southern style metal bands out there, this band just does it really well and really fresh and I have no idea how they manage it.
