Ima big hip hop head that's been into hip hop for alongtime since a kid. I came across Funkdoobiest for a month now! Their first album was nice! I just got into their second album yesterday! This song is definitely my all time favorites by them! When I first hear the beat come in all you feel is the humbleness of the beat then hear Son Doobie come in rhyming about the good vs evil. God vs the Devil and Tomahawk behind him on the second verse and he exit out with the final! I swear this song takes me somewhere I can't explain. Maybe somewhere where I see the visions of what this song is about. I really think about the spirits of those that past away I knew in life. Even those in Hip Hop I look up to that fade away too young! This was really a high level positive song from them! These dudes dug deep with this Gem! Their first album and this album I believe capture of the essence of them with Hip Hop! Sad after this album one of them left! Once again these dudes dug deep with this Gem. Songs like these put me in a calm space bruh when I'm just lost and stress! The feels of this take me back to a kid listening to music on my walkman on the bed..Songs like this are eternal throughout the years! Funkdoobiest some real dudes!
