LOL, that reminds me of the story Sonny Terry told when they wanted him to appear in a Broadway show. He was told that he'd have to play the song the exact same way every night, Sonny replied, "I ain't never played a song the same way twice", then he was told about the money, and he said "YEAH !!!, I can play it the same way, EVERY NIGHT !!!!", Lol, you gotta love Sonny, Rest in Peace Furry and Sonny.

My daddy has been gone for 28 years. He used to bring home Furry Lewis records from the library when I was in 2nd grade & we would listen...to Odetta also. Those are the two musicians I actually remember from the 2nd grade. I now have a grandson in the 4th grade so they made a real strong impression on me! After seeing this all I can think of ...besides how great he is...is "I sure wish daddy could see this!" We had the records, but I sure wish daddy could see this! Thank you.
