I just have to comment on Gene Pitney:When “Murray the K” had his groups back in the day at the Brooklyn Fox, Gene Pitney was the best act out of all them.When he sang “Town without Pity” I was stunned by his remarkable voice!It was better in person than in the record track.The best performer in a performance!A magnificent talent!Sorry that he died of natural causes a number of years ago.No one even comes close to his voice & talent.

Grew up listening to Gene Pitney, Johnny Rivers, And Roy Orbison. Love this music!
