I loved George Shearing but in this version he let his technical prowess overwhelm the song

Hard to explain the way I feel about this guy and his music. Pure genius.

Now this is what piano playing is about. Very warm, sweet , and a true delight to listen to .

such a Far out bebopper when he wanted to be - and its not just finger=-wiggling- this is al CONTENT ! as good as it gets ----few had his technical grasp - maybe Art Tatum , but then ?

this was a record i heard when i was about 5 or 6 years old, my older brother played it. I loved it then and I love it still !!!!!
