Am i the only one here who DIDNT know the name of this song and spent hours looking for it?

Many years ago I use to play this on the piano after church services. it was the only thing I could play though. LOL Love the song then and it still brings back sweet memories.

As a 14 year old, my mom loved this version when it came out. She shared her favorites with me. RIP mom.

Why are songs like this no long written? Timeless. This will be a classic when we are all dead and forgotten.

What a lovely voice Helen Ward has & what a timeless song by a gifted composer. I like the latest Train - 'Play That Song' Version also, a nice twist & Tom Hanks in 'Big' on the giant Keyboard before the 'Chopsticks' scene, it's great to see songs like this being dusted off & back in the charts, not that they had charts back then! .

Beautiful song one which makes me realize that Hoagy Carmichael was one of the best of American musicians and composers. And the girl's voice never fails to touch me whenever I hear this song.

I remember watching Tom Hanks big. Fell in love with the song.
