Took me 2 days (9am - 7pm) to "lift" the solo off the record - another 3 weeks to be able to get through it note for note at half tempo, and another 4 months to get it up to speed - only 16 at the time - it paid off though, as I got into a Mecca dance band on the strength of it 18 months later!
