Is that Teddy Wilson at the piano? I enjoyed this clip very much.... it shouldn't be forgotten that the old Playboy magazines was so much more than centerfolds, it also patroned jazz music

Clark Terry....not Brock. The great Milt Hinton on bass, and Bill Cosby sitting in on drums (along with Alan Dawson). Super swingin'.

is that FREDDIE HUBBARD on trumpet ? goodness me...... oh,i see below someone suggests,Clark Terry . . pure class, either way . The apparent dislocation between jazz and rock'roll healed in a night of joy.

I used to sing this song under a turned over canoe in the water at sleepaway camp.

The finest version of this "Hamp´s Boogie Woogie" is played faster, 1991 or 92 at Munich Klaviersommer, Hampton´s Golden Men of Jazz with the St. Petersburg Staatsorchester, it blows you away! I only have this as a mp3 but may do a video with pix up here, you MUST have listened to it! :)

I like the music of Lionel Hampton. His way of playing the vibraphone has no comparison.
