I really appreciate the blunt use of shoegaze. bastardizing old genres is great, but why not just rehash this lovely loveless sound? it's fuckin wonderful. I wonder if mbv got airplay on MuchMusic in Canada... because the shoegaze noise brings me back to a time that didn't exist for me -- like I've heard it somewhere before... subliminally... before Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins joined my awareness.

I love this band. I know they borrow very heavily at times, but they do it very well. There just aren't enough bands who experiment with this kind of sound, which is really sad because it's great to hear especially live.

To the ones saying this is an "Aruca" rip off. That's just another "Soon" rip off. So it's a rip off of "Aruca" ripping off "Soon". Well done, nonetheless! I vote to keep drum machines out of nugaze. (No coincidence they sabotaged the drum set at the onset of the video.)

sounds like 'soon' by mbv and 'aruca' by medicine and the video looks like them too. I think that was a concious decision on their part
