Life, is floating fast away.
But I look, your head is turned away.
From the moment you left I knew that something wasn't right.
But the feeling inside has kept me up all night.
You and me are like one heart-beat.
You and me are like one heart-beat.
So slice open my veins.
And let, the romance bleed away.
From the moment you left I knew that something wasn't right.
But the feeling inside has kept me up all night.
You and me are like one heart-beat.
You and me are like one heart-beat.
Back into what I thought I knew, these words inside me, tell me what to do.
My heart held, in the palm of your hand.
(Forget my name) Now I know, the way to go, this place inside my demented mind.
(Forget my name) You saw me bleeding on the bathroom floor.
(Forget my name) This time in silence, this time I win.
(Forget my name) Now you will feel my pain
Forget my name
im 14. it makes me sad that there are very few people my age who know that senses fail even exists. i was really young when this genre of music was more prevalent. now, most kids listen to hip hop & rap. music like this (as well as kids who listen to music like this) is/are looked down upon by most people I know. seems to me that the hardcore/punk scene is pretty much dead. im seriously hoping for a revival in the future. there are so many under appreciated bands, like senses fail, around.
When I first picked up a guitar, I learned every single song on this album.
I was in high school when: Silverstein, The Early November, Taking Back Sunday, Senses Fail, Saosin, Thursday, The Used, Underoath, Matchbook Romance, Halifax, Finch, Hidden In Plain View, From First To Last, Hawthorne Heights, Yellowcard, Atreyu, My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold were all relevant at the time with great albums released. (Taste Of Chaos!) (and yes, I was a scene kid, lol!)
Now if you name drop some of these bands to people, they'll look at you like,
"who's that, never heard of them"............sigh
Give me a Like! if you listened to these same bands when you were in high school.
Peace!
