Tim Bogert is an incredible and under appreciated Bass player. He took James Jamerson's Funky syncopated style and adapted it to hard Rock.

I picked up an import of this LP which described this as orchestral psychedelic rock.
Tim Bogert's bass supports the whole thing but I most especially love Vince Martell's tasty guitar licks.

I call this theatrical music - like a play on stage. The music creates so many moods - racing, dreamy, pleading, authoritative. The keyboard is playing all kinds of stuff, the guitar is picking a serenade, the bass is running to and fro, the drums are just great, and the singing....what can I say?
