I was in elementary school at the height of this era, and I was the weird kid because I hated MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice....I loved this stuff....Warrant, Motley Crue, Poison, Cinderella, Slaughter, loved. them. all. revisiting this makes me realize how much better this music is. not pre fab, autotune, mumble mouth crap like kids today have. hate it for them.
rest in peace, Jani Lane. God knows I loved you!
There is nothing better then listening to 80 and early 90's music. It really takes me back to growing up as a child. The kids these days have no ideal what music is. :)
Turned 13 in 1980 so my teen years were the 80's wouldn't trade it for anything those were the best days with the greatest music ever 80's RULE FOREVER!!!
I remember when I was 6 I met Jaimie the lead singer in my home town in upstate New York, a truly nice and down to earth person. I actually cried when he passed away as I knew him if only for a moment. He made me laugh and joked with me. I'll always remember him fondly
I listen to "Hair Nation", channel 39, on SiriusXM quite a bit. They play this song on a regular basis. I grew up in the heyday of this music and sometimes you want to hear a good rock song with a melody, maybe even some harmonies. Nice to see that others, including those younger than me, appreciate the same things.
