Stranger fruit
How it grows and grows
We all saw the shoot
But we tend to the rose
Stranger fruit
Is a plant of the well
Flesh so bitter
It pick itself
Stranger fruit
With a beckoning call
From crown to the root
This tree won't fall
Stranger fruit
Got holes in flesh
But it ain't gonna spoil
'Cause it never was fresh
There's a storm out there
There's a storm out there
They're out somewhere
There's a storm out there
There's a storm out there
There's a storm out there
They're out somewhere
There's a storm out there
There ain't no shelter for us
There ain't no shelter for us
There's no shelter for us
Ain't no shelter for us
They're out looking for ya
They're out looking for ya
Out there looking for ya
Out there looking for ya
When Gagneux himself says they wanted to create a track that was musically great but lyrically so dark you can hardly listen to it...he wasn't lying. This is just incredibly unsettling. Uncomfortably dark. Holy hell below, it's heavy.
you guys deserve more fans!!! This music is awesome. Its like something you've never heard before! I hope you will "get discovered" very soon so i can go on your concert in any city in the world!
I've been so jaded the last 15 years when it comes to new music. Zeal and Ardor, your music changed this in the very first bar of this song. IMhumbleO, your talents are up there with Devin Townsend, some may not agree...I cannot wait to hear what sonics you give us in the future. Thank you for this soul-filled work. We need more positive themes like this in our music.
