I remember first hearing this in Record Village, Walthamstow. It was so different from everything else out at the time and I just didn't get it. The staff there tried hard to convince me across 2 visits but I never bought it. A week later I totally understood it and fell in love. Rushed to get a copy and it was gone. I had to wait 10 agonising months for its proper release!
Hmm. I came here and expected a constant discussion going on from early 2000 due to 174 trek.
i still remember Fabio and Grooverider asking people to stop insulting Zinc becourse of his switch to the garage scene!
But have to admit, the 138-174 Trek stunt is unbelievably great!
Releasing the same track in 138 Bpm and 174 Bpm, and make a hit on both scenes!
the thing is , its a great track in both tempo's . i played 2 sets of only dnb on 33Rpm works great!
But what a drama!
I just love Zinc.
Specially since the lovely KISS.FM days
I LIKE 174TREK BETTER THOUGH!!!
let the flaming begin
back when this got released everyone in milton keynes called it 'the bouncy tune.' When it got played in nightclubs everyone would jump up and down...twats
