Armagh...one of Ireland's most beautiful counties. They call it the'Orchard County'.......know a girl from there..so what about..'The girls from the County Armagh'.....from lovely places like Portadown, Richill, Crossmaglen.

My Daddy loved playing songs of both Bridie and Ruby Murray way back about 50 years ago!! I learned and loved so many of their songs - this has always been a favourite as I loved, and still lovingly remember, two particular boys from Armagh! Thank you for posting this and for the memories of my Dad :)

This takes me back to when I was in high school (and a first soprano). My Mom was of Irish descent (Dad was full German). They took me to see Ireland On Parade and we saw Bridie, an others, "in person" as we said back then. I learned every song on the album that we bought and sang them to my Mom often. Brings back special memories. Thanks for posting this
