One of the best songs I've ever heard. It gets to me every time I hear it. In "The Ride", David Alan Coe said "Boy can you make folks feel what you feel inside" and "Drifter can you make folks cry when you play and sing" while referencing his conversation with Hank Sr's Ghost. Well, Hayes Carll certainly does all of that. One of the best.
