This is the best version smooth, satin and sophisticated. Sing it Etta James recorded a great version of this tune as well. Wonder if a man has never covered this one?

my favorite female vocalist of all time!!

the current attention to Sinatra (100th anniverary of birth) should bring JS into focus, although that has lagged behind, unfortunately. It is more than her perfect tone; it is her fidelity to the musical score. In the Dorsey period, she stands out while being able to blend seamlessly with the Pied Pipers.  She credits Sinatra with that same ability.

She sounds so mature..it is very classic but the way she sings is so sophisticated! love it.

Someone posted authorship of the song but left out Louis Prima. I though he was co-writer.

She had the purest most perfect voice in all popular music.

The best music needs to resurface and new tunes like this one need to be written again.....where is the romance gone?
