There’s this feeling inside
And it’s getting stronger
Forget my foolish pride
I can’t hold out any longer
Cause the feeling’s love
The feeling’s love
The feeling’s love
The feeling’s love
Just the other day
When you passed right by me
How did I know it was gonna be
I really wanted to say
Baby, come on and try me
Cause the feeling’s love
(You know that I need you, you know that I want you)
The feeling’s love
(You know that I need you, you know that I want you)
The feeling’s love
(You know that I need you, you know that I want you)
The feeling’s love
(You know that I need you right now)
Baby, you would take me in your arms
And fill me with your charms
I’d be in ecstasy
(Ecstasy, you and me)
I wanna give you all I’ve got
Cause you know that I’ve got
A lot to keep inside of me
Well, you know the feeling is love
The feeling’s love
(You know that I need you, you know that I want you)
The feeling’s love
(You know that I need you, you know that I want you)
The feeling is love
The feeling’s love
(You know that I need you, you know that I want you)
The feeling is love
(You know that I need you, you know that I want you)
The feeling’s love
The feeling is love
The feeling’s love
The feeling is love
The feeling is love
The feeling is love
The feeling’s love
(You know that I want you)
The feeling’s love
(You know that I need you)
The feeling is love
This is one of my all time Angela Bofill songs. The poetic nature of this song with the very light and airy background vocals. I love the way the piano dances in the background. The drumming which I believe is Steve Gadd adds a great grove to the song. This song is perfectly arranged and its a classic and the way the song fades out at the end is fantastic.
Was listening to this the other day, and have to say, man Angie Bofill is so talented, and this track on her legendary 2nd album showed it all, my favorite part is her genius “La La “scat solo near the end, her voice is a beautiful instrument that she knew how to play! Angie Bofill, you are a true legend with a diamond
OMG! I'm sooo glad you put this album on here. I love Angela Bofill. Next to Minnie Riperton she was the stuff. It felt good to hear this album with songs I had forgotten about. The Feelings Love, I played that about 9 times. No lie. I also appreciate how you separated the songs. Thank you.
