Guess who’s coming to dinner, Natty Dreadlocks
Guess who’s coming to dinner, Natty Dreadlocks
Oh I can see you brought some herb for me, Natty Dreadlocks
And Rasta near land Nyah Binghi Cudjoe are coming over the hills
Say in time like this we must live as one
So the Book of Rule shall stand, Dreadlocks, Dreadlocks
Guess who’s coming to dinner, Natty Dreadlocks
Guess who’s coming to dinner, Natty Dreadlocks
So let’s give thanks and praise, Natty Dreadlocks
I appreciate the herb you brought for me, Natty Dreadlocks
Now that things and time have changed
Something make me realize what it takes
And how to be a Natty Dreadlocks
Guess who’s coming to dinner, Natty Dreadlocks
I’m just coming in from the woods, Natty Dreadlocks
So let’s give thanks and praise, Natty Dreadlocks
I appreciate the herb you brought for me, Natty Dreadlocks
Now that things and time have changed
Something make me realize what it takes
And how to be a Natty Dreadlocks, oh yeah
Guess who’s coming to dinner, Natty Dreadlocks
Humm yeah
Guess who’s coming to dinner, Natty Dreadlocks
Guess who’s coming to dinner, Natty Dreadlocks
Guess who’s coming to dinner, Na-
So the Book of Rule shall stand
Guess who’s — Dreadlocks
Guess who’s coming — Dreadlocks
Never knew of this song or group until one day when I bought a double disc movie starring Denzel Washinton... in one movie
Mr Washington plays a Jamaican Police Captain and attends a wedding where this is being played live!! Loved it since!!
*EDIT*
That movie is called "The Mighty Quinn"
PURE quality! Growing up in Jamaica with no telly, only a transistor radio. We used to take the batteries out of the radio and charge em up in the sun so we could have the radio to listen at night! Sly and robbie productions!!! "In times like these, we should live as 1"
Growing up in Jamaica-it was a treasure hearing these great songs echoing through the otherwise still of the night cutting throughout the airwaves of the hills and Valleys down in Westmoreland.
Embarrassed to say I knew nothing of this group. I was invited to their concert last night here in Atlanta at the Variety Playhouse. It was an amazing show. That bought me here :-)

This is the music I grew up to blasting on the stereo while my parents invited over family and smoked herb, drank beer, and barbecued dinner for us. When the adults were drunk later in the night they'd sing karaoke together and let us kids stay up late and play. Best times of my life.
