Its in B Major, the dobro is tuned to open B the chords I believe are switching between the tonic and D and E, (3rd and 5th fret)

Mark Knopfler wrote this song? Blue Highway has certainly made it their own. I often hear it on Music Choice Bluegrass. I never understood the lyrics well enough to realize what “Marbletown” was. Reading the lyrics I can see Knopfler’s signature: a light touch with a dark subject. But I stand by what I said. Blue Highway has made it their own.

Tune the 1st string to "D" , Tune the 6th string to "D".. Then play d chord, second chord is g but just play 3rd fret 5th string and second fret 4th string ( leave 3rd fret second string alone from D chord). Next chord is G ( 5th fret 6th and 5th string. Take me Down to Marbletown is an Am7 formation, G, D ( Mark Knopfler version) Have some fun by playing d minor chord to lots to improvise with.. You will hear it.. Pick the heck out of it! Have fun!
