I remember this song being played on the radio when it was first released and I was still at school. My dad loved it and we would sing along to it together whenever it was played. Dad passed away in 1964 aged 55. Whenever I hear this song it brings tears to my eyes. I'm 69 now and it seems like it was only yesterday.x

A truly wonderful song with an amazing arrangement that brings tears to my eyes. I remember it from my childhood, but I had completely forgotten all about it until the Expedia commercial brought it back to me. I am so happy to hear it again after so many years.
Just looked up Clarence Henry on Wikipedia and was glad to find out that he's still alive and performing at age 82. Good for him!
