Great tune. My favorites by Dion, or Dion and the Belmonts is this tune and Sandy. The Roomates version is good too, but with a much stronger lead, as DD privides here, really makes the song. Many thanks for posting Mark. Lucca

This is my favourite song from Dion & The Bellmonts. It's great!

You know, I really wish people would give this music a chance for once. This is from the generation where people were more mellow when they sung, there was no obscene language, and whatnot, just nothing bad. This is probably the only video I found with this song that has barely up to a quarter of a million views, with only 243 likes. When a video gets over 100,000 views, they sometimes get likes over 1K, but this is what good music deserves in the eyes of the current millenium's modern-day generation of kids.

singing in a doo wop group for 20 years i met so many of these groups.. met the del satins many times singing at the same shows with the brooklyn bridge. never met dion though. but this song lonely world was always one of my favs.. have'nt heard it in a long time thanks so much for sharing this song... forevrbtle5
