Donald Byrd - Flight-Time download song

Played this when my plane took off from JFK heading to Heathrow (London). Looking out the window and listening to Donald Bryd just matched the scene. It was an experience unto itself. Gary Bryd (No relation) always opens with this tune on his Radio G.B.E. show. As the cats in the UK say when they hear classic music like this "TUNE".

Todays hackers need to go back for some root edukation on what constitutes music . This is one way

One of my favorites by Donald Byrd.I remember not being able to hear well for 3 days after sitting to close at a Donald Byrd concert.Those horns coming thru those speakers was a bit much.he was an excellent arranger,composer and of course a trumpeter.

Do you remember where you were the first time you heard this. I was cruising down Murchinson Rd. Fayetteville NC in my 67 mustang.
