After more life experience, my interpretation of this song has changed from that of romantic connection with someone who isn't conventionally beautiful to someone who desperately wants to preserve the romantic 'butterflies' forever, with "don't change a hair for me not if you care for me, stay little valentine stay, each day is Valentines day", rather than letting love develop further and evolve - but that's just me.

Ella Fitzgerald brought me here. Full stop.

Ella is one of the greatest singers ever. She had music in her soul. This is an extreme blessing.

This song brings one into a whirlwind of love- a love that encompasesses the most prominent nature of love. Enrapture. Fascination. Pure beauty...

Perfection....what else can you say.  Hauntingly beautiful song performed by one of the greatest vocalists of all times.  Thank you Ella for all  that you have given to us
