Nobody can express nor play this with such emotion as these two amazing artists. I just love this version. Cheers.

My mother also had a 45 recording of this song. One of my very first memories of childhood.

This was the first piece of music I ever heard on my Heathkit crystal radio back in 1959; I was eight years old and while trying to describe it to my brother the only word I could think of was "royal".

My older brother, Mickey, introduced me to the music of Ferrante & Teicher back in the 1970s when I was in high school.   He and his wife went to several of their concerts, and bought me a vinyl album (before CDs came out, which I think was around 1983) of some of their greatest pieces.  I still have it today.  Great musicians!

As a child I remember crying for the first time listening to a piece of music. When they modulate that when the tears came. A bit embarrassed my Mom told me it was okay to cry.
