I love the cinematography in this piece: very raw, grungy... Toward the end as she is suffocating and they grab the emergency ax to break through to her, arms reach down and lift her out of the murky water. She could breathe. Nothing was broken--it didn't have to be! This is the nature of grace. It repairs and completes rather than destroys. The singer then shouts a promise to herself as much as to the audience listening; "Joy WILL come". Because despite the barriers that pain puts up, people acting in grace, love, and kindness can STILL reach through.

I played this song over and over and over again and just crying profusely; wondering why.. until a day later I found out that my best friend died.
