Been a fan of Haste the Day for years now and only just recently heard this song. Completely in love. I'm not religious, but I tell all of my friends about this band. Great artists and I respect the message. Very powerful.
Revelation 8:2
And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets,.... Given them, prepared themselves to sound; they stood up, took their trumpets in their hands, and put them to their mouths; this was giving notice of what was coming upon the earth, and a kind of warning to men, and a call upon them to repentance, and to prepare to meet God in the way of his judgments
I go to the school where this band originally formed, and the drummer went to my church. I've played on the drumset that we had when he was there, but then we sold it. I WANTED THAT SET! But on the bright side, I can say that I played where royalty played.
this album is so good I remember listening to it years ago when I got my first car and I wanted to put a sticker of the bird on the top middle of the back window because I liked the album so much.
Amazing song! I'm always surprised at how many people don't even know that christian metal exists. I think the heavier music is more passionate, and it helps to bring out my own feelings. Gotta love it!
I personally don't believe in god, but Christian metalcore bands always seem to have the deepest and most meaningful lyrics. I can really see how powerful this could be to all the believers as well! One of the few bands where the majority of the comments aren't about bashing religion, but the quality of the badass music.
