This song came on while I was packing my room up and I was hit in the feels almost instantly. Made me think of old friends from highschool who used to be the center of my world. My 12 year old daughter found this song this week after we lost a very dear family friend. This friend was like an uncle to her. He listened to all of her problems and would always find ways to cheer her up. He did everything with our family and joined us on many adventures. We have adopted his 2 dogs that were in the house when he passed away. My daughter said she felt this song was perfect. It sums up her relationship with James, our friend, as well as his relationship with the his dogs. I can't help but cry every time I hear it. She'll be singing it at his memorial this week. What a powerful song!
love that how this song explained that it is okay to still be weak, that it's okay even if your loved one is with you, you still are weak, but less weak. and the edge are still there, it doesnt disappear just because your loved one is with you, it is still there, it's just become less sharp, and it is okay. life isn't always sunshine and rainbows, accept what it is. breathe, you can do it.
