Freddie blows the first solo, he's playing so lyrically and sweet, and when he gets halfway into second A section, man is he ever slashing and burning on that eighth note line in the upper register!!!! What a beautiful song and performance, one of my favorite underplayed ballads in all of jazz!!!!!

This is my Coltrane favorite...I wore out the grooves on this one, back in the day. There was no mistaking who was playing when he when he picked up his Sax. That tone was unique to him. No one like him!
