This sounds great! The more jazz i listen to the more my ears open up to the intricacies and subtleties of dissonance and resolution. Its aurally liberating in a sense.

Stowell seems to be an amazing teacher with very deep knowledge in jazzy tools (harmony, phrasing, rhythm, etc). Yet when listening to his playing on standard tunes I cannot help feeling it to be far too cerebral, without humph. A kind of Bill Evans without the genius that inhabitated that brilliant piano player making Evans one of the greatest ever. Just a thought as I wish I was able to play 1/100 of Stowell!
