I've got Billboard books at my fingertips and that "Thrill" didn't show up on the white Pop chart in '65 is little surprise, but that it didn't even land on the R&B chart is astounding. I never heard this or had a copy till the second half of the 70s, but have never been without it since. By the conclusion of this one, Weston's voice is somewhere so far in the stratosphere it doesn't seem humanly possible. There's no good explanation how a performace like this went so neglected in its time.

I see it was in 1965. I bought this song and played it over and over again. I had a huge crush on this girl down the street from me. She and some other friends would come over and I would play this song for her and dance with her. She never knew and had a huge crush on her. She was perfect. She had no flaws.
