Back in the day in 87, the only way I could get hip hop was from a bootlegger at the flea market and I came across the original black cover. When I heard these lyrics and the djing scratch I was blown away. Totally wasn't what I was expecting. MC SHY D is the original Hotlanta MC. When I hear people say DIRTY SOUTH I always think of MC SHY D. He didn't slur or force words to rhyme. Clear precise and DOPE! I had to make a trip to Phoenix to find this album. What I also loved was the BASS!!!!! New York and NWA had sound but this song had great BASS!!!!! I would play this album 5 years after and people would want to hear the boom! Thanks Shy D for the great memories
