I played second trumpet to Forrest Buchtel with the Highland Park Wind Ensemble in Highland Park, IL in the early 2000s. What an experience. Forrest was an absolutely impeccable player on all horns, on all charts, on all styles, in all ranges. An old school great trumpet player.
