I’ve got a mean red spider and she’s been webbing all over town
I’ve got a mean red spider and she’s been webbing all over town
i’m gonna get me a mean black spider so i can tear her power down
I’ve got a break coming no news for me to mourn
I’ve got a break coming no news for me to mourn
That’s such a mean red spider she’s breaking up my happy home
Yes i don’t go crazy i will surely lose my mind
Well if i don’t go crazy i will surely lose my mind
That’s just a mean red spider and she just bothers me all the time
im lookin for the version he did for James 'Sweet Lucy' Carter and his Orchestra 2 years (1946) before this version(1948?)...just read about it, cant find it yet....its muddy on guitar vocal, alex atkins on alto sax, lee brown on piano, unknown clarinet player and ernest big crawford on bass....says it was released on 20th century records in chicago.
