Not really. Emo had already been well established by the time Osker's first record came out (which was more punk than emo). By the the Idle will Kill came out, emo was an established trend in the scene. How old are you?

Just started listening to this band like a week ago, and I'm already obsessed haha

This takes me way way way way way way back. you know those types of songs that take you to a certain point of life? This song is the perfect example.

When Osker broke up, they posted an entry on a blog (prob Epitaph) saying that anyone could take their name, play their songs and call themselves Osker. Doesn't get more punk than that my friends.
