My dad took me to see Tito puente and poncho Sanchez when I was like 7 at a high school or city college in the San Fernando valley in California. I remember Tito’s hair already white and he jammed out on the congas. Poncho was just as talented as Tito. Solid ass sets by both of them. It was a Latin Jazz jam session for sure. R.I.P. Tito.
