Great peice of music. My brother's father's daughter's sibling's name is Ray Anthony.

My rooster actually crows in the perfect rhythm or beat of the first eight notes of this song. ( i had thought that it was the theme song to get smart, but this was the song. Yeah, i knew i'd figure it out eventually). Crazy chicken !!!.

Does anybody know that the original title of this tune is "Danger Ahead"? It was written for Burt Lancaster's very first movie: "The Killers". When Jack Webb began using it, I think Ray Anthony cried every time he went to the bank! They did change the name of his tune after all!

At 1:22 they bust loose. I like the earlier jungle drums also. They just don't tune drums that way anymore. The drums here were probably real animal hides. Thats what they used back then.

I like Ray Anthony's orchestra. He had a TV show with the 4 FRESHMEN. Ray was married to Mamie Van Doren. As of 2019 she's 88 years old.

I used to listen to this most days in my army tent in Korea. Had some crazy words I recall. I think they were different from the series version.. good music those days up to the 60s. Had melody, verse and you could remember the music.
