Had a huge crush on Sammy as a kid and read all his books. Writer singer dancer actor impressionist comedian, humanitarian, etc...What could he not do? Great man who helped change the world!

Best ones were Nat King Cole and Louis Armstrong

Sammy was multitalented and deserves more recognition.

Sammy Davis Jr. was without a doubt the greatest all around entertainer to ever walk the face of this earth.

I remember seeing Sammy do this live in his late 50's club acts - we saw him often at the Coconut Grove in Los Angeles.

Possibly the greatest entertainer of all time.

The racist hatred this man had to deal with. A multi-talented entertainment giant such as Sammy should've been allowed in ANY hotel and on EVERY stage. He crawled so that entertainers after him could walk.

Sammy Davis Jr.'s voice is so beautiful even when he tries to sing like others, his beautiful voice comes through. I love you Sammy!

Sammy was a superb mimic, but he was also a great comedian as well. If there is one album that everybody should own, it is the flawless "Wham Of Sam" from 1961. It matches FS' "Songs For Swingin' Lovers" for utter brilliance.
