Sandy Posey had a good short run. Sandy suffered from a lack of great material.
This may be her finest song. Her voice is delicate and the arrangement suits
her style perfectly.

Finally a cut where her vocal isn't double-tracked. She phrases well and sings in tune, but the voice isn't the kind of glorious instrument that Dusty Springfield or k.d. lang (or Patsy or Tammy, or even Skeeter, to whom she's usually compared) had. She sounds a bit like Emmylou here. She's very good, but it's hard to argue she's an overlooked great.
