I recorded Scott in 1977 as part of the field interviews of the Linguistic Atlas of the Gulf States. Very pleased to see his artistry saved for posterity. He was a completely self-taught musician. Open Key tuning.

Such a classic man, you can even feel the tempo pick up at times.

I went to many parties at various fishing camps down at Lake Mary at which Scott was the entertainer. My family had the album, but it got lost over the years. So glad to have found your site, and refreshed so many memories of my youth. There was nothing like going to a party at Lake Mary, drinking a good cold beer on a hot summer night and listening to Scott sing his own style of the blues. Thank you.
