Very sadly, Mr. Previn passed away yesterday.

I bought this LP (contemporary label) in Singapore 1963 and lost it in transit on my return home. Can anyone tell me if the original  recording has been reissued?

I picked the cd of this up this morning from a car boot sale, mainly because I was intrigued by the fact that Previn is the pianist. A really excellent album, and well recommended. Best 25 pence I`ve ever spent!!!

Andre has gone. This is a good memorial. Conductor, composer, classical pianist and great jazz man.

Still have this album from way back in the day. Cooked then, cooks now. These guys were so tight. They phrased together and that is a sign of great musicianship.

Used to play all these in my youth with my trio. Loved the arrangements.

Brilliant performance. I originally bought this on Vinyl about 50 years ago. Thankfully many of these albums have been digitally remastered onto CDs.
