Last year I had a dream at a February night: I was watching an extended version of Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves, in which there was a scene explaining why Sheriff of Nottingham has become such a pervert fella. He recalled his memory of losing his one and only love Nida: there was a lake in the woods, and she was sinking within deeper and deeper, up with face, at a frosty November night, and Sheriff had to watch it all along from the back of his horse. I've missed that detail which explained why couldn't he get off his saddle and rescue Nida, but definitely he should have been forced to watch her dying, otherwise he wouldn't have lived this scenario through as a trauma but a problem to solve.
After waking up from this dream, I didn't remember the name Nida but when I was typing the story in a Facebook group of Alan Rickman fans, it reoccurred and I remembered this song. I attached it to my post and all fanmates were extra grateful.
