koji kondo must have been inspired by genesis. "zelda's lullaby" is shining right though here, and "the great fairy theme/save select screen" sounds exactly like the end of "watcher of the skies". i heard he was heavily influenced by ELP too

So many great LPs came out in 1975. This is one of them.

A masterpiece by Steve Hackett, which I used to listen to from a vinyl album since 1979-80. Thanks.

In March of 1986, I was a senior in high school, mostly listened to hard rock.  One Sunday night I was flipping through radio stations, and I came across a program intro for "Music from the Hearts of Space".  Had never heard of it, so I listened in, and this was one of the songs they played, and I was mesmerized. So began a lifetime of loving New Age style music. :)

By this time I went to College, this music, poetry, beach, and my motorcycle, that was my life, the best years at all!

This album is so incredibly beautiful and full of imagination. I was listening to this stuff as a kid because of my older brothers influence instilled in me way back then.

My mom caught valley fever years ago and now she's having tumors in her lungs and everywhere. She's tried radiation and chemo but they keep returning. Doctors haven't given her many options left. I'm very sad.......... but then, I go back and listen to some of Steve's stuff and what pops out is a notion to be positive and appreciate life, art and music! His music hits the soul! Thanks for your music Steve!! Healing in Arizona..............
