Currently re-watching the OC....this song just came on and brought back memories... Season 3...the Valentines Day Episode. I miss the OC.

I miss O.C., i miss the years when i saw the show, i miss my youth. I'm growing up and i'm really sad..

I found this song in my watch later playlist last fall when I finally went through it and deleted a bunch of stuff. This song had to have been in there for at least 6 or 7 years, and I have no memory of listening to it before. I have no idea how it got there because I know this isn't something I would've added to my playlist at the time, but this past year has been a really confusing time and this song has helped me through a lot.

Found this at the end of the movie Ideal Home. I went to college in Ypsilanti. ♥

This music has been with me nearly 9 years now and when ever I need calming music this is what I play. Love Sufjan Stevens.

I am sort of an agnostic atheist, and I really like this song. I happen to be fond of religion, even if I can not believe in one. I think the story of Jesus is a beautiful (yet confusing) one and do see the interpretation of it in the lyrics. I see it as the character Jesus stating how much he loved and how much he gave, but wondering if it will be enough in the end. This Jesus had doubts. He had worries. He was human and I feel a stronger sense of empathy towards him. When I heard this song, I thought of Jesus (as the character from the Bible) looking at the many people now who use his name to justify hate towards others, and how much it would have upset him to witness such a thing. I see him wondering if his sacrifice was worth it, because many of the people claiming to follow him are doing such a terrible job at spreading his message of love, peace, and tolerance. I am enjoying reading about other interpretations of this song :)

Damn wasn't ready for such feels this morning. My wife is out getting a COVID19 test and theres so much uncertainty. Hope everyone out there is doing okay.
