Sweet - Waters Edge download song

Was 14 when I listened to this with my headphones. Steves dirty voice always covered my emotions of frustration, sadness and rebellion more than brian or andys romance voices . After the fans left with brian, I was kind of proud to hv the rest of the band for myself, while my friends listening to ac/dc, scorpions, iron maiden and ABBA, lol

great song great band brian wasnt sweet he was a member of that classic line up.that made sweet what they were. saw brians sweet.wasnt sweet his vioice was shot. and his backing a poor imitation of andy steve and mick. i know he wasnt well and a trooper to the end.might have been different if the record company pushed california nights and it was a hit with stevie on vocals but they didnt. would have loved to have seen dio with these guys. they should have replaced brian it worked for fleetwood mac purple sabbath ac-dc and a few others might have worked for them we will never know.

I do not like the song. Steve was fantastic as the second voice ("background") beside Brian. But this song, sorry Steve .;-/ . . . No Sweet singer will top / reach the brilliant unique voice of Brian. Mho.

45 years old, sweet fan from the age of 5. Still one of my biggest musical influences today. That said, Brian was a great voice, but i am more impressed with Steve as a front man. He has great songwriting melodies and has that persona needed to catch the audiences attention. Nothing but massive respect for all these men.... sweet forever!
